  Going to the C.L.A.M.

  so i haven't been to a midweek meeting in some time.... but i must attend this first clam (not to be confused with 'klan') meeting.

  .

  want to take a look for curiosity sake then go back to never attending another midweek meeting again.

  Women in this Org are looking for a Father Figure

  this is a rant mainly in response to my wife's reaction to the stupid clam meeting last night.

  bear in mind, while i am not sexist, i am also not politically correct.

  .... it is no secret that the women in this organization outnumber the men.

  largely ignored by the misogynist hierarchy that run the show--yet they lap it up!

  this is the majority target market the GB need to go after for the cash income needed.

  i remember when we used to demonstrate the suggested presentation of the propaganda from the 'kingdom ministry(r)'.. a pompus old sod of a brother(tm) once said that the presentations had been tested to ensure they worked.. i thought this was rubbish, myself........ .........any thoughts or insights, my friends?.

  If YOU had to make the decision, would you respect a JW relatives wish to refuse a blood transfusion?

  a few years after i quit the meetings my mum needed her medical directive signed and witnessed and she asked if i'd do it.

  i was surprised to say the least!.

  i think she was just angling to include me and maybe find some lever to get me involved again.

  i had this thought process 44 years ago--my wife was expecting our first child---and i thought long and hard about the blood issue. and the resurrection and new world---and about jehovah--and his witnesses.

  know what ?--i thought--sod it--and threw the lot out.

  except the wife.--she threw me out 10 years later.

  so as many know....ive been df'd goin on 19 years already.

  i drive pops to meetings, and drop him off on saturdays for fs.. well yesterday, the elders ask to speak to me, and tell me that if i plan on returning to jehovah, i had better shave my beard off..

  i have been lurking on this site for 3 years and this is my fist post.

  i would like to thank everyone for helping me wake up.

  i was baptized at 24, married at 25, ms for 18 years mentally in for 24 years but started to wake up 3 years ago doing research to give public talks, and the actions of arrogant and narcissistic brothers and sisters did not help.
